On Tuesday, April 15, 2025, Omar Oray, head of Branch 8 of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, along with his delegation, visited the University of Zakho.The purpose of the visit was to extend congratulations to Prof. Dr. Diyar Abdulkareem Saeed on his appointment as the new president of the University of Zakho. 

During the meeting, in addition to extending congratulations, the delegation expressed their best wishes for success to the new president of Zakho University. They also emphasized their willingness to cooperate and provide support in the area of media and communications.
